Good to know :
• Beaches on the east side of the hotel zone are more exposed to natural and unpredictable erosion. The strip of sand in front of Grand Memories Cayo Largo frequently disappears (partially or totally) after strong winds, high surf, and tide shifts. But fortunately, Cayo Largo has 24 km of beaches, so there are always nice strips of sand nearby! In times of beach loss, the shuttle to Playa Sirena is free.
• There is a Clothing Optional section at the east end of the Grand Memories Cayo Largo beach. But when the eastern part of the beach becomes too narrow (or submerged), the naturists then gather at the western end of the beach, towards the Sancuary section (ex. Villa Bellarena) and the Ranchon Los Pinos (in the area of the former hotel Villa Capricho).
