Cayo Largo is a prime location for scuba diving. Thanks to excellent conservation measures, the Cayo Largo marine reserve is often consider as one of the best place for scuba diving in Cuba. Divers (beginners or experienced) can easily book excursions from the tour desks at their hotel with transfer to and from the Dive Center included (see prices below). Courses are also available. The dive center is located at the Marina Marlin Cayo Largo, in the pueblo Isla del Sol (aka the village), about 8-10 km from the all-inclusive resorts (except for hotel Villa Marinera which is located next to the marina). Scuba Diving Certification is required to participate. Accepted certifications: PADI, CMAS, NAUI, SSI, FEDAS, and ACUC. Beginners are required to take the introductory course.

*Cayo Rosario is about 30 km to the west and require a full-day excursion with lunch included.
